The rules are simple: the cards are laid out one by one from the top left corner.
For every new card laid out it is determined whether the card can be moved on top of already present cards according to the simple rule that a card can be placed on card number one or three to the left of its own location if any of these are either the same rank or suit.
If a card is moved and by that creates new opportunities to move cards these cards must be moved before a new card can be turned from the deck.
The game is over when all 52 cards are turned from the deck and no cards in the playing field can be moved.
You have won the game if all the cards end up in the first pile!
